The French newspaper record, Le Monde, is reporting the over 550 missiles have been launched by Russia towards the Ukrainian capital of Kiev.
According to recording by Le Monde, the Russian attacks have resulted in much of the city, taking refuge in the underground subway system, and at a total of 14 people were injured. However, there are extensive fires throughout the city.


Other outlets are recording this as well, including Der Bild in Germany (however, I don’t speak German, only French).
Apparently, American media does not seem to think this is as serious as European media.

American media has reported that President Trump had a late night phone call with Russian president Vladimir Putin, however, the difference in reporting is stark. European media, concerned with an escalating conflict right along their border without American involvement, is concerned about an escalation to the war.
270 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by an aircraft defense capacity by the Ukrainian Air Force with another 208 lost or neutralized by electronic warfare by the Ukranians.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that he hopes for “positive stability” in a message she sent to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio before the attack.
President Trump indicated that he was not particularly hopeful that ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine might not be possible, according to report from the New York Times.
Meanwhile, the Pentagon is sending 200 Marines to Florida to conduct immigration enforcement in the middle of the night. Happy Independence Day.
